The Deadly Half-truth of Second Wave Feminism

Growing up as a girl in the early eighties, I was raised to believe the following:

“Women should have economic sovereignty and power, just like men.”

“Women should have sexual sovereignty, just like men.”

These two golden rules of feminism would be programmed into my very cellular makeup by my parents and society at large.
