So true. This is my main criticism of feminism as well…as a young girl I was told I was too smart to be a mother. Raising children was something for women who couldn’t earn a living for themselves. When I found myself a mother in my late twenties, I discovered I had been lied to the whole time. There is primal power in giving birth, nurturing and then letting go. Power that lives on, in your heart, forever.
